Truth be told, it had been quite some time since Jiroki last trained here. A spot to park the boat and shared living space with the troops were a part of the perks, but even still most of her mercenaries didn’t frequent it as much as she did. Her mercenaries, the Greyshields, had a long standing contract with Marshtide through their Watch Commander, aiding in occupying and observing the hostile war-torn land. Already she has come to the Swamp of Sorrows to visit Marshtide, her boat docked with theirs. But that is where Jiroki decides to go to do her daily training, wanting to remain diligent even if on her travels. ![]() The swamp isn’t an ideal place to train, with how muggy and hot the temperature can get. The few people who know about these names don't use them either, and everyone else knows him as just Gheist (or Poltergheist), so it all works out in everyone's favor. He doesn't feel a particular way about the words themselves, but neither of these are names he uses today. GHEIST: His given name as a young child was A'i, and then as he got a little older his mother started calling him Atalari, which means faithful. Getting bitten by her is a very, very bad experience. Those were all removed when her body was recovered by the forsaken and the cavity was left empty, until she got her wolf parts sown onto her - she missed eating, so now she has a weird mechanical organ that works sort of like a stomach, but instead of digesting food it turns everything she eats into poison. SAMA: Samaela has pretty much no internal organs at all. ![]() He's strong and they're used to it by now.
